Budget

Everyone’s situation is different. Money doesn’t buy instant skill. A skilled photographer with basic gear will out-perform someone with expensive equipment but less skill. I recommend starting with cheap equipment and slowly upgrading over time.

Camera Body: Sony A7 RV

This full-frame mirrorless powerhouse is the core of my kit. Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II
A go-to for portraits and compression-heavy shots. It gives me incredible flexibility, creamy bokeh, and sharp results from a distance — perfect for candid travel moments and dramatic senior portraits.

Backpacks & Extras

Size depends on your needs and duration of event. A 25L suits short trips and small shoots; a 35L is better for longer trips and weddings. I’d personally recommend the middle ground, a 30L bag.
